This window was very heavily restored in the 1880's by Steinheil, who removed various unrelated panels (one is now in the Met, the rest are lost) and added 14 new panels painted in an historicising style. Of the panels shown here, only the central roundels (excluding the topmost) are at all original and even these include much 19th century glass.
