Mary is shown seated on a bank, amongst trees, her hands raised in prayer. The blessing hand of God emerges from a cloud to show his acceptance of her repentence. On the ground beside Mary one can clearly see not three but four round loaves. This scene might therefore represent the miraculous replenishment of Mary's food supply during her long years as a desert hermit.
